Mandeville Fire

To educate and gain the support of District 4 voters, we developed a multi-layered campaign using #TimeToRespond as the overall theme. This referenced three essential elements of our messaging strategy: emergency response times are increasing, the need for MFD to respond to this issue is growing, and District 4 residents must respond to this issue now with their β€œyes” vote.

In three months, we generated nearly 750,000 impressions and 22,500 engagements on Facebook. We secured approximately 2,200 new Facebook followers, and increased the department’s average daily reach from 815 to 10,340. We distributed 500 yard signs, and 11,000 educational brochures through direct mail and events. We also secured six public speaking opportunities for MFD and five media interviews across print, radio and TV.

Voters passed both millage renewals by wide margins.
